About Me

Allison Brevier is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Santa Barbara, California.

Allison graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Although initially drawn to Nutrition Science, she felt a stronger calling toward the relational and familial aspects of eating disorders and decided to pursue a M.A. at Antioch University in Clinical Psychology. Allison trained at Central Coast Treatment Center during her master’s program.

With over 6 years of clinical experience, and as a graduate of Antioch University in Santa Barbara she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are eating disorders, anxiety, and panic attacks.

Allison is an interactive, multi-modality therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support, insight, and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges spanning from childhood to current day. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques, from both modern western practices and eastern philosophies, to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and connection to their authentic self to attain personal growth and freedom.
